Gail Shust graduated from The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography and Graphic Design. After graduation, she became a founding partner of Schwa Design Group in Washington, DC. Her career path then took a turn when she matriculated at Tel Aviv University to pursue medicine, ultimately working in the field of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Throughout her life, Gail has used photography as a means to document her surroundings and express her inner thoughts, focusing on the beauty in the mundane.
